Artist Statement:
In my art I draw characters and scenes for manga books as well and some drawings of celebrities, the celebrities tend to be hand drawn while the manga work is done digitally. My art is inspired by people I see and general items I see which are then personified. I want people to see how everyday objects can show personality and to show the issues that are facing today's society such as gender discrimination, racism, homophobia and police injustice. Using digital art for creating work about modern issues creates a link between the issue and the modern aspect of it since many believe that the issues are old news and in the past however they still are around.
